Subject: In-Person Recital and Party! Adult Student Spring Recital on May 6th at 4:45 PM.
Mark your calendars! This is a message from the ADMTA Adult Student Forum Committee
Dear ADMTA Teachers,
You are invited to the first IN-PERSON adult student recital since 2019!
We are so excited we’re having a PARTY too!
What: ADMTA ADULT STUDENT SPRING RECITAL
When: FRIDAY, MAY 6
What time: 4:45 PM
Where: The Steinway Piano Gallery of Austin
Party afterwards! - drinks at Pappadeaux (11617 Research Blvd.)
We celebrate that our adult students kept performing, and ADMTA kept the recitals going through the pandemic shutdown.
There will not be a Zoom gathering for this in-person recital but adult students who can’t attend can submit recorded pieces to Mallory , which she will post to the ADMTA website by noon on May 6th.
Spouses and significant others are also invited! And those who would like can stay after drinks and have dinner together at Pappadeaux as well! Even if you teach until late, just let us know what time you can come and we’ll ask Pappadeaux to hold a place for you! Let’s celebrate!
Deadline: Please send 1) each student’s name with 2) teacher’s name and 3) name of piece (10 minutes or less) with 4) name of composer in a response to this email by April 29.
April 29 is also the deadline for submitting recorded pieces to Mallory, which should also contain the 4 pieces of information.
We so look forward to seeing you all!
