To Members of the Board and Members of BMTA:

MINUTES OF MEETING

The general monthly meeting of BMTA was held on January 10 by zoom.  Present were Angela and Lillian. Martha V attended by phone.

Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was resolved that:
We request TMTA change our listed name to BMTA of Williamson County. We're hoping this will help new members find us.

Notes:
It was agreed that Buffy be the judge for the Romantic Festival.  She has been asked and she accepted the job. Her bio is at https://pianobuffy.duetpartner.com/my-resume
Lillian reported that she visited with Martha M on the phone.
We're hoping that Martha V can help with the theory test.
We're expecting 7 students for Romantic Festival, 7 students for Competition, and 25 students for recital.

Guild Auditions
teeeeeembo Tue, Jan 10 at 11:54 PM
Greetings! my name is Tim Girardot, and I'm the chairman for the Austin area Guild auditions. I've learned that the in person judge for this year is Dr Craig John Ralston, who is a singular judge, pianist and teacher. Please see his bio and cover letter that's attached.
If anyone wishes to have their students play for Dr Ralston this year, please feel free to contact me via this email, or the phone numbers provided in the cover letter, and let me know how many students you wish to audition.
This year will be different in another, wonderful way--Austin's in person auditions will now be held at the ACC School of Music, located in the old Highland Mall in central Austin.
Your students will get to play on a NEW Yamaha C3 grand piano in a collegiate setting!
thank you for your time, and feel free to contact me with any questions. Have a great day!
sincerely,
Tim Girardot
