Minutes of Meeting
BLUEBONNET NEWS
Dear Teachers,
MINUTES OF MEETING
The general meeting of Bluebonnet MTA was held at Panera Bread on October 14
at 8:30 am. Present were Martha M, Martha V, Dianne, and Lillian.
If you missed the meeting, we missed you. Check your email so you know what we
discussed. We had a great meeting.
NEXT MEETING
The next meeting will be on Tuesday November 11 at Panera Bread in Cedar Park
at 8:30 am. Hope to see you there!

one half block east of 183. Turn left into the shopping center behind
Denny's.
IT WAS RESOLVED THAT
Starting next school year, if the fall theory registrations don't cover
expenses due to insufficient enrollment, the fall theory test will be
canceled.
NOTES
Martha M will prepare the fall festival certificates.
Dianne will be the ribbon captain for the fall festival.
The January meeting will be held at Velocity Music Academy.
Lillian will bring juice to the January meeting.
Martha M will bring pastries to the January meeting.
The ensemble rehearsals will be held on Saturday afternoons in May.
Lillian checked the SA schedule from the TMTA, and the TMTA SA registration
ends in February. So the Bluebonnet SA late registration will end February 1.
The on line yearbook has been updated. Please update your yearbook.

Remember to give your festival students a copy of the student information
sheet.

Stephanie is going to direct the elementary or level 1. The older kids are
playing "Walnut
Creek Rag" by Melody Bober. It has been confirmed by the ensemble
committee.

Parents need to know about ensemble at this time of the school year, because
they plan their summer vacation at this time.

Minutes of September Meeting
BLUEBONNET MTA
Dear Teachers:
MINUTES OF MEETING
The monthly meeting of Bluebonnet MTA was held on September 9 at Panera
Bread. Present were Mary L, Martha V, Martha M, Dianne, Lillian, Stephanie,
Sarah.
IT WAS RESOLVED
That the SA registration fee will increase to $17 on September 15 of next
school year.
That next school year pieces for festivals by Great Masters must be originals,
and the second or students' choice piece may be an arrangement.
That there will be no meeting or event in December.
The deadline for Ensemble registration has been changed to February 1. Please
update your year book.
New bylaws were approved to comply with state mandates.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Teachers should know by January which of their students will be participating
in ensemble.
Please advise your students who will be taking the theory test that all
vehicles are mandated to display a parking permit on campus with no
exceptions. A daily permit costs $3/vehicle and can be purchased at a pay and
display kiosk.
Mary Lee's daughter Eunice Lee is an accomplished pianist, she is 15 years
old, and she is accepting students for a low fee at Velocity Music Academy.
Refer your students who can pay low fees.

YEARBOOK
The yearbook is partly completed. The Introduction and Festivals chapters are
completed. The SA chapter is not done yet. The yearbook is on line at

me know.
The membership list has been deleted for security reasons, and will be sent
to members only by email.

equipment in all these three rooms.
