Welcome to the news school year! Now we have our annual events established and
set up. We should have a smooth and fun performance!


NEXT MEETING

The next general meeting of Bluebonnet MTA will be held on Friday August 21
at
Panera Bread in Cedar Park at 9:30 am. If you missed the last meeting, we
missed you. Check our newsletters

New Article in the By-Laws: Upon dissolution of the
organization, the remaining assets will be transferred to another tax exempt
organization to be used for educational purposes, the Texas Music Teachers
Association.


NOTES

SA registration
Please be aware that the deadline for regular registration in Student
Affiliate
is September 15. If you register your students in SA on September 16 or
thereafter, you will need to pay the late registration fee, which is $17 per
student.

Trophies
Teachers, please pass out the trophies handout to your students at the
beginning
of the school year. You can find it in the yearbook on line at

Ensemble
At this time of the year, parents begin to plan their summer vacation for
next
year. This is a good time to promote the ensembles to the parents, so that
they
can plan to attend next summer. The ensemble promotional information and
